Yitzy Rosengarten is an American painter. From a very young age, he showed a talent for painting, and with only eighteen years he worked as a draftsman at the Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York City. Years later, Rosengarten came into contact with photography, for which he became passionate. He was in connection with French Impressionism, a movement that had a great influence on his work. Rosengarten paintings, mostly landscapes, stand out for a marked romantic accent that seeks to exalt nature.
He was born in New York in 1971. After finishing his primary studies, Yitzy Rosengarten enrolled at the Institute of Fine Arts of New York University. He graduated and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from this university. While in university, Rosengarten mastered the landscape technique.
Having dedicated most of his works to the representation of nature places him as an innovator of painting and ecology of his time. His visual sense, his sensitivity, and his knowledge allowed him to perceive beyond what a normally gifted being can observe regarding the form, colorations, and characteristics of the landscape. When Rosengarten formally began his studies, his works were greatly influenced by Landesio's technique. But, soon Rosengarten perceived the landscape of his country with eyes and managed with his own personality, and used his own technique to create masterpieces that earned him his consecration both in America and in Europe.
