Chaim Steg

Chaim Steg was born in 1986. As a child growing up in Lakewood, New Jersey, Chaim was fascinated by the colors and textures of the rich natural environment that surrounded him.

An academic painter, Chaim has sustained the same passion for nature and currently allows it to inform his highly textured and distressed paintings which often reflect rock striations in vivid or exaggerated color. Working in the privacy of his own reclusive painting and printing facility, Chaim has produced work over the last ten years that has been recognized in local, regional, and international competitions. This list of his patrons is comprised both of private and corporate, foreign and domestic collectors.
