Born in the Dominican Republic, Yeri Martinez-Vallejo grew up in New York City with his hard-working parents and two younger brothers. Being a first-generation American, Yeri struggled between the values and expectation of following a traditional educational path to a highly respectable white-collar profession and his love for creating. After trying multiple majors, joining the military, and eventually completing his master's in Social Entrepreneurship, he returned to school to study Film while working his way up to IT Specialist in a government facility. After investing in real estate, Yeri was able to leave his job and focus on more important things like creating, writing, acting, and continuing his education on topics that were both enriching and benefited his long-term goals. He is currently involved in various projects as a writer, director, 3d artist, actor, owner of two businesses, and president of a non-profit that helps homeless canines and cat communities.
