Traci Newkirk

Traci Newkirk is an award-winning, speaker, teacher/ facilitator, and business owner. Traci and her husband partnered over 19 years ago to open Intellectual Capitol Inc. (ICAP), an IT Staffing and Consulting company that has grown to over 50 employees.

As they grew, Traci’s discovered a strong passion for teaching and leading others, and her acumen in this area became an integral part of ICAP’s success. Realizing her expertise in this area could provide additional value to their clients, the Newkirk's decided to launch a new arm of the business in 2014. And so, Human Potential Advisors (HPA) was born. Traci and her team remains laser-focused on helping individuals and teams reach their full potential. Through her work and community engagement over the past 20+ years, Traci has honed her skills by teaching people to value themselves and others. She has worked with small-to-medium businesses, Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, churches, chambers of commerce, government agencies, and more. Her ability to provide fully-customizable solutions to each client has been integral to both her and her clients’ continued success.

Traci holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Winthrop University and a Masters in Organizational Leadership at Concordia University Irvine. She is a sought-after speaker South Carolina and across the U.S., addressing topics mainly focused on Culture, Hiring and Organizational Health. She serves as Vice Chair of Leadership Development for Greenville County Chamber of Commerce and is a volunteer coach with the Minority Business Accelerator Program.

Traci holds 6 additional certifications through Gallup in Employing Top Talent, Individual Development, Team Coaching, Entrepreneurship, High-Performance Management and Engagement. She is certified in Clifton StrengthsFinder, DISC, and Enneagram.

When she isn’t working or actively serving the regional business community, Traci enjoys spending time and going on adventures with her husband Barry and their family, leading book club discussions, and connecting with friends – old and new.
