Toussaint Mitchell

Toussaint Mitchell, an SIUC alumnus, currently serves as a Congressional Staffer in the United States Senate. He is also an Executive Board Member for Black Men on the Hill, a networking organization that supports Black men in achieving their professional goals. His previous roles include serving as an Executive Staff Assistant to House Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi and as the Parliamentarian for the Congressional Black Associates, a Congressional Staff Organization.

With a firm belief in civic engagement and the active participation of African Americans in our governing system, Toussaint Mitchell is a hopeful visionary. He understands the responsibility of shaping our Nation's history as emerging leaders. His aspiration is to inspire and influence future generations to become politically active agents of change and to underscore the importance of building meaningful relationships through the power of networking for professional development and career advancement.
