Thomas Geier

A PA native, husband, father, grandfather. I joined the military straight out of high school. After serving my first four years in the Army I separated and tried my hand as a civilian, which didn't suit me at the time, so I turned to active National Guard service for a year. Still wanting more of that life, I re-enlisted in the service, this time in the Air Force as an Intelligence Analyst for 13 years, then followed that with seven years as a First Sergeant where my primary duty was taking care of Airmen and our civilian employees from discipline issues at work to lives falling apart outside of the military. As both an analyst and First Sergeant, public speaking was a critical part of the job. In the latter, those speaking events were nearly always about leadership in some fashion. As a First Sergeant, I was at the top of the leadership chain just under the unit commander and in those seven years I was trained in leadership philosophies and experienced all manner of situations that call for strong leadership. Today, I speak about leadership and the variety of subtopics that fall into that broad category from communication to teamwork to personal growth.
