For years, we were told that no one could find qualified women to hire behind the scenes in the entertainment industry, so I created the #CrewList to find and vet women above and below the line. It blew up to over 2000 women in 26 departments within months. I started a 501(c)3 and a searchable database on a new website that is now being used by the film industry to solve the problem and hire more inclusively.

As executive director of Women In Media, I've been able to push the needle for better inclusion in the film industry through programs, initiatives, and advocacy. We are at the beginning of an exciting chapter for women and those who work with them.
