Kerry D. Rosado is the Diversity Pipeline Programs Director at the Justice and Diversity Center at the Bar Association of San Francisco. She oversees programs that support K-12 students, college students, law students, and attorneys. To learn more go to https://www.sfbar.org/jdc/diversity/. Kerry has 15+ years of experience in tech, healthcare, education, and finance. Author of Inclusive Leadership: Opening Doors for Marginalized Groups, available on Amazon. Named among the 146 Inspiring Women Leaders in 2021 by Diverse IN. Former elected official, who served as a School Board Trustee and advocated for equitable education for all students. She is a proud mother of two boys with autism and neurodiversity advocate. Holds a Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace, a Bachelors in Computer Science, and pursuing her Master in Leadership and Management.

She has worked at top tech companies such as Microsoft and Amazon to advocate for diversity and inclusion. She is a former board member for People Acting in Community Together (PACT), where I empowered the community to solve social issues related to housing, immigration, education, restorative justice, and led community rallies. She has also mentored youth through Google CS First and Microsoft TEALS, and even led and won hackathons at Women Who Code Silicon Valley.

Inclusive Leadership

In this presentation/training I discuss the importance of inclusive leadership, the characteristics of an inclusive leader, how this leads to inclusive spaces where people can thrive, and how this ultimately leads to innovative and more productive teams.

Advocacy and Allyship to Ensure Equity for All

In this presentation/training I discuss how people can become allies and advocates to support the following communities:
-Black
-Latinx
-People with Disabilities
-LGBTQIA+

Empowering Women and Minorities

In this presentation/training I describe the acronym BIPOC, which stands for Black, Indigenous, People of Color. I also discuss how employers, higher education institutions, and medical facilities can empower women and people of color.

Dismantling Unconscious Bias

In this presentation/training I discuss how we as individuals can identify our own biases, those of others, and hold people accountable to create more inclusive spaces.

Neurodiversity in Education and the Workplace

In this presentation/training I define neurodiversity, how higher education institutions can be more accommodating to neurodiverse individuals, and how employers can develop more inclusive spaces to better support neurodiverse employees.

How to Boost Psychological Safety in Times of Crisis

In order to be innovative and productive in the workplace, psychological safety is needed. All members of the team must trust one another and know that they have the freedom to express their thoughts or ideas without being judged. The key to achieving this is inclusive leadership.

How to Influence Leadership

Through the power of story telling and influential language you can change the hearts and minds of leaders. In addition, understanding the mindset of a leader will give you the tools necessary to make impact.

In this workshop I train attendees to identify their own biases, biases of others, and how to hold people accountable. We discuss the difference between an up-stander and bystander and how develop a true culture of acceptance and inclusion.
