Tahitia Timmons

Tahitia is a Black, queer, cis-gendered neurodiverse (autism) woman whose expertise is creating dialog around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) framed in the context of health, safe spaces, and authenticity.

She has Marfan’s syndrome and often uses her personal experiences to discuss how DEI efforts can foster individual and organizational resilience along with improving well-being.

She is skilled at speaking and moderating on healthcare and equity, DEI topics, Resilience, LGBTQ+ and the Black Experience in the context of healthcare.

She has presented nationally on DEI topics, various nursing topics, and written articles for nursing and non-nursing publications. She obtained her MSN from Drexel University College of Nursing & Health Professions with a focus in Nursing Education and Technology. She is a certified nurse in oncology, pain management, certified diversity professional (CDP®), Bold, Inclusive Conversations® Facilitator, IDI Qualified Administrator, and a lean six sigma black belt.
