Hi, I’m Svet!
I started my first business at the age of 9 selling candies in school and paying commission to 4th graders who sold out my stock.
Now, I’m a housing developer and contractor based in Cebu, with most of our projects in Consolacion and Liloan.
As a financial advisor at AIA Philippines, the largest publicly-listed insurance group in the Asia-Pacific region and the largest insurance company in the Philippines by assets held, I am highly experienced in financial management and analytical business development.
I am a seasoned investor with years of experience in global markets with a focus on the United States (NYSE/NASDAQ). As of now, I am a private equity shareholder and a lender/creditor.
With our city’s growing economical demand, I supply and distribute frozen food products to clients in IT Park and Minglanilla.
My focus is on growth, scaling my current positions and venturing out into new areas. I am always open to more opportunities, exciting ideas, new jobs and businesses, and most importantly; people to listen and learn from.
I love volunteering and helping out with causes close to my heart. I am a member of more than 5 non-profit organizations and groups that focus on community service, programs like donation drives, teaching and educating young kids in far-flung places, feeding events, and cleanliness seminars. I firmly believe the little decisions we make can contribute to positive change in the world; so let’s use our actions for good.
I live in the Philippines, archipelagic home to the most beautiful beaches and amazing cultural backgrounds. We have some of the hardest-working people, from farmers, fishers, to corporate workers… Filipinos will do anything to provide. Yet, many still suffer from inadequate access to healthcare, education, and proper welfare programs. Filipinos are often intelligent and studious, but not many are paid well considering their qualifications. I am proud of my country, but as a Filipino youth, I believe there is still so much work to do. With all of that said, here’s a quote I hold dearly:
“We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone.”
- Ronald Reagan
We can’t control most of what happens in this world, but we can fully control what we choose to do about it; how we react. Despite all the hardships and challenges, life is too short to be rid of joy, love, and anything but compassion. Kindness is free, virtue is a choice.
I’m committed to service with a purpose. All glory and praise to God, He blesses us and makes everything possible.
I write with passion, so I only publish my work on my official pages. You’ll exclusively find my writings, photos, and ideas here:
