Sunu Kodumthara

Sunu Kodumthara (Code-um-thaw-ruh) is a professor of history at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma, where she has taught since 2010 and specializes in topics in political, cultural, and gender history from throughout 20th-century U.S. During her time as a board member for Oklahoma Humanities from 2017-2022, she served as Chair for the Grants Committee, as well as a member of its Executive Committee. She's been asked to speak for various community organizations, including the Oklahoma chapter of the League of Women Voters and the Oklahoma Association of Professional Historians.
