Have you ever felt:
Hopeless? Powerless? Less than? Insignificant? Invisible?
Do you believe you have an inner hero? Do you believe you are significant and important? Have you found your VOICE?
Stacy Bernal is an Ambassador of Badassery. She believes we all have greatness within, whether we realize it or not.
As a survivor of abuse at a young age, Stacy felt broken for many years. At 17, she endured the heartbreak of giving a son up for adoption. By 30, she had failed marriages, failed careers, and was lost. She learned her son was autistic, and she struggled as a single mom to take care of him. In 2009, she ran her first marathon and found her inner badass at the finish line.
Now an eight-time marathoner, ultra-marathoner, and triathlete, Stacy sees the world through eyes of a conqueror. She climbed out of Rock Bottom and made it to the surface, but she didn't stop there and she continues to climb mountains (both figuratively and literally). And she wants to bring others along with her for the adventure.
Stacy was quiet about her abuse, her son's adoption, and her son's autism for a long time. She was afraid to voice her thoughts, feelings, and opinions. She was "just a girl, just a server, just a bartender" for over half her life. She faded easily into the shadows. Today, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Weber State Alumni Association. She is the VP of the Ogden Pub Runners, an Ambassador for the Ogden Marathon, and an active member of Women in Business groups.
See. Stacy. Speak.
She found her voice. Now let her help you find YOURS.
