Sofia Haq

Sofia Haq is the Founder & CEO of Muslim Women Professionals (MWP), the fastest growing organization for Muslim women, Senior Program Manager at Slauson & Co., and a part of the VCFamilia Fellowship. She is also a public speaker on issues pertaining to gender equity, the Muslim community, and venture capital.

Most recently, she was a part of the Inicio Ventures AngelPath Academy, a Summer Investment Associate at VamosVentures, and Senior Program & Community Manager at XRC Ventures. She is also an alumni of the Included VC Fellowship.

She was named one of the Top 50 Most Influential Muslims in both 2023 and 2024 by Equality X. She received the MuslimARC Social Justice Connector Award. She is also the recipient of the Unsung Hero Award, given to leaders that provide meaningful support to communities.
