Bio

By way of introduction, my name is Sion and I run the award winning LGBTQ travel blog, The Globetrotter Guys. We work with travel companies, tourism boards and DMCs who are interested in the LGBTQ travel market and have acted as speakers at conferences on LGBTQ travel.

Most recently I spoke on a panel at IMM London on the topic of 'Equity and DIveristy in PR and Journalism' and at ITB Berlin on 'How to run the Perfect Press Trip with LGBTQ Media'.

What is LGBTQ Travel

'Why can't you just call it travel, why does it have to be gay travel or LGBTQ travel'

A question I get asked often but the considerations thatLGBTQ travellers have to make and equally the considerations companies should be making are vastly different and nuanced.

During this talk I explain what we mean by LGBTQ travel and give insights in how we can all do better when it comes to hosting LGBTQ clientele.
