As a corporate legal counsel and strategic business partner, I bring diverse expertise in legal advisory, risk mitigation, and exposure minimization strategies for public, regional, and global organizations.
My industry focus spans real estate, oil and gas (upstream), energy, technology, telecommunications, payments/fintech, healthcare, and semiconductors.
Currently, I serve as the APAC Head of Legal and Compliance for a regional headquarters, while also leading the legal functions for two other corporations within a globally recognized Japanese conglomerate. This conglomerate operates across a diversified portfolio, including cameras, photo imaging, medical imaging devices, and semiconductors.
I oversee legal and compliance teams across Singapore and the APAC region, managing up to 20 lawyers in multiple countries.
My role emphasizes innovative negotiations, conflict resolution, and deal structuring while building strong relationships with strategic partners and fostering consensus at all organizational levels.
My upbringing and experience as a former police officer have instilled emotional intelligence, resilience, grit, and adaptability—qualities that equip me to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments and engage with diverse personalities.
