Sherita Cherry is a business owner for 24 years and an online course creator with online cosmetology programs at Tennessee State University and Southern University. Her online programs educate entrepreneurs, empower women and serve as a platform for mentorship for young girls. As a professional coach/speaker, Sherita serves as a keynote speaker at trade shows, corporate events and women conferences.
Sherita is a leader in the beauty industry and her expertise and training has provided her with opportunities to consult with corporations in which she works with manufacturers, distributorsand consumers. Sherita worked with United Healthcare and the former United States SurgeonGeneral, Dr. Regina Benjamin on a campaign ad “Styling Healthier Futures”. A three-year nationwide tour, together with Dr. Benjamin, they travelled the country educating African American women on physical fitness, nutrition and beauty. She currently creates brand images and social media content for Strength and Nature, which owns beauty brands such as Motions and Dr. Miracle’s hair care line.
Sherita is also the founder of “Stylists Who Brunch” a networking event that serves as a platform for mentorship for beauty professionals. This module has been presented in Dubai, Houston, Chicago, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, St. Louis, New Orleans, Dallas, Philadelphia, Miami and other cities across the U.S. Over 10,000 stylists have participated in these training events.
Sherita is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University and spends her recreational time travelling with her family, volunteering in her community and reading her favorite autobiography books
