My experiences in the mental health field far exceed any education that I could earn. Although I have a BA in Sociology and currently working on my MA in Sociology/Chemical Dependency, my progression is a reflection of the many shifts that challenge me physically, mentally, and emotionally. Often times dealing with psychotic and aggressive individuals risking my own life for their safety. I wouldn't have it any other way.

As a Public Speaker, I enlighten my audience with many comical accounts of various psych ward shenanigans and the successful and inspiring stories of those that were once deemed unmanageably psychotic or with no motivation to change. To enlighten is to teach. My tactic is to enlighten you with empathy, understanding, and an inspiration to change yourself. This is a sure fire way to create positive social change and fight stigma against mental health.
