I help people make better decisions – minimising and mitigating risks while maximising opportunities.

I have 22 years of experience managing risks and crises across widely differing environments, seeing what strategies and tactics work (and which don’t). Much risk methodology is unhelpful dogma; I cut through the noise to help make risk relevant, relatable and realistic.

I worked in roles focused on investigations, political risk analysis, compliance, crisis response, counter-intelligence, and counter-terrorism.

I have augmented this experience with postgraduate studies in Behavioural Analysis and Investigative Interviewing. I am a Certified Fraud Examiner and Crisis Responder. I wrote a book, "Bootstrapping Ethics", to help those with limited resources navigate risk and ethical challenges.

I have operated in more than 50 countries, starting my career covering EMEA before living and working across Asia for 12 years.
