Bio

Roopa is a technologist at heart. 20 years ago, she moved across the globe, far away from everything she ever knew, to pursue higher education. She learnt to traverse the cultural changes, learn a new language, and make a living while doing her Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Roopa's own journey in Cyber Security has been fueled with unrelenting passion for technology that started with just playing puzzles during her childhood. Her never give up attitude is contagious. She is a speaker and core team member on HPE's North Texas Leadership Development program that helps grow leadership capabilities within the company. She has also been a panelist for Women in Security event at HPE.

Roopa wants to help women embrace Technology and Cyber Security and help navigate with professional world through her own joruney.
