My first memory as a child was my father and mother getting into an altercation and somehow that altercation was taken out on myself and my other siblings. My mother stormed into our room where we were all snuggled in bed together, scared, and started hitting us over and over because she was upset with my father. Many situations or worse fell into place. We were homeless, my mother was abusive and through it all I had to lean on myself to do better, to overcome what I was brought up in and achieve goals I was told I would never achieve. I am 27 and a Vice President of the 2nd largest DIY surveillance company in the USA. We together can overcome, and achieve greatness no matter what our upbringing was or is.
