This presentation explores the essential roles of chloride in human physiology, including fluid balance, acid–base regulation, and membrane transport. It covers chloride absorption, deficiency, toxicity, and key transport mechanisms such as the chloride shift. Clinical conditions, including Congenital Chloride Diarrhea, Cystic Fibrosis, and Bartter syndrome, are highlighted alongside genetic insights from OMIM and NCBI.
