Murat Dorkan established Dorkan Financial Group Inc., in 1992. For nearly 25 years he has led the Owings Mills, Maryland, financial advising operation as owner and chief executive officer, while also serving clients as a financial and business consultant and professional coach. Over the course of his career as a financial adviser, Murat Dorkan has gained experience working with clients ranging from individuals to large businesses. During this time he has operated with the primary objective of leaving each client in a more enviable financial position than when he first met them. While the company has achieved a number of industry awards and distinctions, Murat Dorkan’s team is more proud of its exceptional client retention rate and clients piece of mind we provide. Murat Dorkan, a chartered life underwriter (CLU), is a member of the National Association of Independent Insurance and Finance Advisors (NAIFA). When he is not preparing his company to expand into the business coaching field, he enjoys staying active by playing tennis at the Bare Hills Racquet Club and Baltimore Fitness and Tennis. He also enjoys mountain biking throughout the Loch Raven Reservoir area.
