Bio

Mikki is a survivor. She was born with Neuroblastoma and at age 36 had a stroke at work, resulting in the discovery of a tennis-ball sized tumor in her heart. The next day Mikki had emergency open heart surgery and a pacemaker implanted.

Since then, Mikki has dedicated her life to sharing her story of total wellness after a life-threatening illness, as a survivor speaker for the American Heart Association and many other venues.

Mikki is the CEO and Founder of Pikes Peak Launch, and the COO of TEDx Colorado Springs. Mikki is also an artist, showing her art in a local gallery and hikes Colorado 14-ers. She is married and has a daughter, three cats, and a dog named Cat.
