Melissa Kanes has faced many challenges throughout her career, but has risen to the challenge fearlessly. Just two months before 9/11, Dr. Kanes had opened her first practice in the Empire State Building. Business dwindled after the attack, but Dr. Kanes didn’t let it stop her. She went door to door the landmark building handing out business cards and offering to do adjustments. Melissa Kanes successfully regrew her business through sheer force of will and dedication.
