Participants will embark on a new journey through pedagogical shifts and praxis and have an opportunity to participate in a universally designed activity that exemplifies the creation of space for all students.

Bridging the Digital Divide: Strengthening Public Library and Public School Collaborations

Dr. Mary Pettit, founder of UDL Solutions, LLC, brings 26 years of experience as an educator in New York’s public school system and is a passionate advocate for all learners. In collaboration with Playaway Products, Dr. Pettit will delve into existing research that addresses misconceptions about audiobook technology in K-12 classrooms and share plans to design innovative strategies to overcome barriers that hinder the effective implementation of digital technology, ensuring universal access and support for all students in K-12 learning environments.
