Marisa King

Marisa King is an award-winning entrepreneur, a captivating speaker and revered business and lifestyle coach who has dedicated her life’s works to empowering and inspiring people to get out of their own way, clarify their purpose and create the life that they want.

Marisa established her name as the visionary behind the Buzz Brand Marketing Group, a marketing and communications firm that specializes in building brand equity. In this role, Marisa leverages her relationships to provide effective solutions for businesses and brands to increase productivity and their public presence. Clients include everyone from corporate executives to athletes to politicians, authors, entertainers and consumer brands.

Prior to Buzz, Marisa held roles in entertainment including positions at Viacom ranging from marketing and publicity to human resources. In addition, she has contributed to marketing campaigns for top brands, enabling them to better reach their target markets.

Furthermore, Marisa is Executive Director of The King Foundation for Excellence, a foundation created in honor of her late father to provide people with substantive opportunities for education and career development. Over the years, Marisa has worked diligently to create platforms for women’s empowerment; in 2003 the Women’s Entrepreneurial Network for female entrepreneurs, in 2015 Women Who Crush It, a movement to highlight women making an extraordinary impact in professional industries & on a social level in various walks of life and now in 2019, Marisa has launched, Intimate Conversations, a brunch series for woman in the Atlanta area.

This charismatic leader has also been named one of Atlanta’s Women of Power & Influence by The Atlantan Magazine in 2014, in 2009 received the President’s Corporate Entrepreneur of the year award from the Professional’s Network Organization and was included in the 2007 40 Under Forty list presented by The Network Journal Magazine.

As a devoted advocate for women and a serial entrepreneur, Marisa shares her cultivated wisdom and experience to reveal the secrets of successful business and healthy lifestyle choices through powerful motivational speeches and engaging events and workshops. Marisa holds both life and business bootcamps on and offline as well.
