Marian Mitchell is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, business owner, entrepreneur, recipe developer, health lover, and author. Based in Scottsdale, Arizona she teaches local and online corporate and wellness workshops, and presents at conferences all over the country, She also maintains a health coaching practice partnering with doctors and their patients at Holistic Urgent Care and Primary Care.

Her passion for sharing the amazing health benefits of food and lifestyle strategies is spread to her audience in an easy to understand and implement format. She will never leave an audience armed with information without easy-to-apply action steps they can start right away at home.

A Lifestyle Approach To Cold And Flu Prevention

We are not victims of the elements during the fall and winter season. There are things we can do to be proactive in keeping our immune system strong all year long. In this workshop, attendees will learn:

• Things in your control to strengthen your immune system
• What to do if/when you do get sick for a speedy recovery

Eating Healthy On A Budget

We all desire to feel good and eat the food we know we need to be healthy. Yet, eating healthy seems out of reach on a tight budget. It's not all or nothing though! There are simple strategies to add fresh and healthy foods to your diet without breaking the bank.

In this workshop, attendees will learn:

*the role food plays in common ailments including pain, inflammation, stomach discomfort, cholesterol, blood sugar management, and attaining and maintaining a healthy weight.
*what the best foods are to include when on a strict budget,
the most delicious ways to add healthy foods to your meals,
overcome common obstacles encountered with a change in diet,
*Watch 2 recipes be made
*Take home a sample meal plan and recipes to help get them started on their journey.

For many of us, sitting down to have lunch is a luxury that we just don’t have when studying and working for 12 hours a day, which makes meal-prepping a dream that is hard to fulfill, leaving our health to suffer. However, it doesn’t have to be that way!

In “12-Hour Day and Healthy” you will:

*Learn affordable strategies for shopping and packing healthful, energy-sustaining meals for those long days.
*Watch a cooking demo and learn what healthy go-to options are out there and how to keep them fresh all day long.

How To Rebalance Hormones With Food

Hormone imbalance impacts us in every way possible. When our hormones are out of whack we experience symptoms including an inability to lose or gain weight, hypo and hyperglycemia, depression, anxiety, fatigue, hair loss, moodiness, debilitating PMS, low libido, infertility, and more.

These symptoms are not normal or part of aging! Nor are you doomed to feeling awful or being on medication for the rest of your life. With the right diet, and sometimes specific supplementation, you can rebalance your hormones and feel great again.

In this workshop, you will learn the symptoms of imbalanced hormones, their various causes, the pros and cons of different testing options available to you, and the impact of stress and high/low cortisol levels on your other hormones. We'll also cover how to use food, nutrition, and lifestyle strategies to get your hormones rebalanced.

Adrenal Fatigue: What It Is, And How To Recover

Millions of people suffer from constant fatigue and stress that is not relieved by rest and sleep. This silent and little-known epidemic are causing fatigue, weight gain, and chronic illness in fast-paced America. These are symptoms of adrenal gland problems, also known as adrenal fatigue.

Detox is a word often used in uncomfortable fad diets lasting anywhere from 3-21 days. I want to clarify the process and help people avoid starving and then experiencing the "detox flu." In this workshop, attendees will:

-Learn what detox is & isn’t
-Which foods aid and hinder this process
-How to detox properly
-Easy to implement strategies to feel amazing everyday
