Mariah Gabrielli

I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at age 7. I had to overcome the impossible. I went through extreme chemo treatments and an above the knee amputation. I was bullied and forgotten. At age 11 I was put into foster care to fend for myself. My biological parents didn't accept me for who I was after my amputation. I was beat, told I was worthless. I went through many self esteem struggles. I had to find worth and how to successfully be better than who I had become. Instead of believing that I was nothing I had to find something. I found that I was not alone. There are people all the world who just need to feel love and hope for their lives and futures. Kids die of cancer and as they wait for their final days no one has said the fight is in the mind. What the need is encouragement. That’s what I’m here to do.
