Makya Renée Little is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Phoenix Phoundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to eradicate generational cycles of domestic violence. With a background in Graphic Design and a master's degree in the field, Makya's creative talents are matched by her unwavering commitment to social change. She is a certified Diversity, Equity and inclusion practitioner and has held key roles within the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Diversity and Inclusion Office, focusing on reasonable accommodations and disability inclusion. Makya's leadership extends beyond her nonprofit work, as she also actively advocates for education equity and serves as a member of the Virginia Commission on African American History Education. Her dedication to making the world a safer and more inclusive place is truly commendable.
