Lowell has become so familiar with the stories of Titanic that he is now considered to be more than just an entertainer. In fact, he even joined a Titanic expedition to actually go down the 2½ miles to the ocean floor as the 109th person to visit the ship's watery grave, spending 12 hours collecting artifacts from the historic site.
