Dr. Lisa Thomas is the owner and practitioner of Synergetic Organizational Consulting, LLC. She consults, mentors, and coaches Business professionals helping them to achieve self-awareness, identify and strengthen character and personality traits, as well as identify areas for growth and development. For organizations, she assesses, analyzes, diagnoses processes, and develops collaborative strategies for improvement; Including change management, goal setting, team building, and employee engagement.

Dr. Thomas is a CCE Board-certified Coach specializing in personal/life, Career, and Health/Wellness Coaching. Certified Nutritional Coach (PN1-NC). She is a Certified Human Resources Professional (SHRM-CP) Consultant. Dr. Thomas has applied her knowledge and skills in the public and private sectors including Non-profit (Public Benefit Organizations) in various roles including management, fitness, wellness, health care provider, Coach, and consultant. She assists people in reaching their personal and professional goals. Their success transfers directly to increased value to their associated organizations. She believes that success begins with self-awareness and infectious empathy for others and that this can be realized and applied at all phases, positions, and levels of organizational operations.

With over 20 years of Business, teaching experience and as a graduate-level professor, Dr. Thomas guides adult learners through their Master’s, Doctoral studies; Thesis, and dissertation research and into successful business careers or business ownership.

Dr. Thomas has earned a BS in Management and Organizational Sciences from Wayne State University, An MBA with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Walsh College of Business and Accountancy; and a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Capella University.

In addition, Dr. Thomas coaches and mentors small business owners in various operational areas through volunteer efforts with SCORE, a non-profit branch of the U.S. Small Business Administration. She holds active memberships with The American Psychological Association (APA), the Organizational Development Network (ODN) Society for Evidenced-Based Organizational Consulting (SEBOC), and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) Alpha Sigma Pi.
