Lee is the president of SpieckermanMedia LLC, a public policy, media and political strategy consulting and production firm. He has advised presidential candidates and high level White House officials and written extensively on public policy and political strategy. Lee has been a frequent Fox News Channel and Fox Business commentator and appeared on other news networks, as well as NPR, Sirius XM, and major radio talk shows across the U.S. Lee has been published and or featured by outlets including The Hill, POLITICO, MSNBC.com and FoxNews.com.
Lee was a spokesperson for Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush's 2018 reelection campaign, where he helped Bush secure 58% of the vote against a strong field of Republican primary opponents, including Bush's longtime predecessor in that office. Lee has also overseen a Hispanic-owned TV station group, closed multi-million-dollar digital advertising deals, and built strong relationships with top media executives and investment firms.
Earlier in his career, was an executive with television station group LIN Television, where he was instrumental in achieving increased news ratings for its largest stations, most notably, KXAS (NBC) in Dallas/Fort Worth., which his leadership moved from last place to Number One in news demographic ratings. Lee went on to found LIN Productions, which produced all Texas Rangers Baseball regional telecasts and provided award-winning and profitable creative, production and graphics services to a strong roster of national clients. In that role, Lee oversaw the first HD sports telecast in America, the Texas Rangers Opening Day game in 1999. Lee's career began on the 1980 John Connally Presidential campaign, where he worked with later-legendary figures including Fox News founder Roger Ailes and Reagan White House press secretary Jim Brady.
