Bio

Dr. Lee Mellor is a criminal profiler, cold case investigator, and bestselling author specializing in the study and investigation of aberrant homicide and sex crime, particularly multiple murder (i.e., serial, spree, and mass). Over the past 10 years he has spoken to the general public, law enforcement, and academics about the most darkest, most perverse, and bestial crimes known to man... and they've loved every minute of it.

Though born in the UK and residing in Canada, Mellor has actively worked with law enforcement on cases from New York to Alabama and sat across the table from serial killers and gang members.

Mentored by the legendary Dr. Eric Hickey, Mellor is a global authority on sexual violence and and the world's leading expert on necrophilic homicide.

He is the Chair of the American Investigative Society of Cold Cases' (AISOCC) Academic committee, and host of the popular true crime podcast 'Murder Was the Case'. A natural storyteller, while obtaining his B.A. in History he was voted the third most popular singer-songwriter in Montreal next to Leonard Cohen and Rufus Wainwright.
