Dr. Connell has had an exciting career as a Clinical Psychologist and currently serves children and spouses of active duty service members while also providing crisis intervention, psychological assessment, and assisting parents in advocating for the educational needs of their children.
Dr. Connell has a passion for outreach and has created and organized programs to support the community to include topics of mental health, sexual assault, and stress. Most recently, Dr. Connell partnered with The American Red Cross and established a Girl’s Empowerment Group, a group in which she mentored young ladies in grades 5-8 that addressed topics to include self-esteem, academic success, and mental health.
Dr. Connell weaves her own lived experiences into each presentation allowing for a personal touch to difficult subjects. Her innovation, creativity, and wisdom serve well for audiences across the lifespan.
