Laura is the founder of Passion Collective, a global community that helps professional women rediscover their passion and purpose.
Born in the UK, Laura moved to Minneapolis in 2000 to fulfill her dream of working in advertising. She built a 20+ year career in digital and experience marketing and now advises several Twin Cities firms as a fractional CMO in addition to her role as Passion Collective founder.
In 2008, Laura was a marketing leader and new mother who appeared successful on the outside, but was burning out fast. As she forged a new path for herself, she wanted to rediscover the things that she loved about work and life, and craved true connection with other women who felt the same.
Starting with social workshops that offered a trusting and intimate alternative to traditional networking, Passion Collective grew fast during Covid as professional women sought connection, encouragement and practical inspiration. Six weeks into lockdown, Laura launched Passion Collective On Demand, a subscription home that provided a flexible new way for Passionados to connect and share.
In 2019, Laura launched Atomic® Grants (with sponsors Atomic Data and Keystone Group International), and has since awarded 10 micro-grants to women who are pursuing their passions in the Twin Cities, New York, UK, Uganda and Ukraine.
The community has grown to more than 8,000 "Passionados" from around the world, with plans in 2023 to expand its programs and continue to bring professional women together.
Laura partners with businesses to deliver keynotes and event experiences that help empower and elevate women to thrive at work and in life. Laura speaks on topics of "Redefining Success" and "Finding Your Passion" - most recently at Auer Steel's National Conference and Meritas Global Women's Leadership Conference.
She also partners with top women speakers to produce and deliver immersive employee and client events for companies who want to “walk the walk” of supporting women. Topics include imposter syndrome, gender-based communication and navigating career success.
