Kyri Demby

Kyri Demby is a native Floridian, born and raised in Crestview, Fl. He is the middle child of seven children born to Linda Brown. Kyri began directing and playing for church choirs at the age of thirteen.

Kyri then attended the famed Bethune-Cookman College (now Bethune-Cookman

University) in Daytona Beach, Florida where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education and Church Music. Kyri has also received a Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida.

Kyri Demby has over twenty years in the field of education which has allowed him to master the classroom management process. He has also published several children’s books: Lori Biscuit the Musical Detective, Lori Biscuit the Musical Detective- the escape of Fortissimo, Simon the Self Control Seal, Taylor the Truth Telling Tiger, Not In My Church, and The Tales of the Steel Quarters.

Demby has spoken for great deals of schools and community organizations. His methods are used is several classrooms throughout the country.
