Kimberly Byers is an author, speaker, coach, and mentor. She is the founder and CEO of “ByHers Peace of Mind”, a company that empowers women to find PEACE in their over-burdened lives! Kim is a transformational speaker, who influences women to find ways outside of the norm to regain clarity and a commitment to self-care. This 28-year Army retired senior non-commissioned officer has been interviewed by local radio stations on how she created harmony in her busy life and still finds time to help others. Her mission is to help women realize that being overwhelmed, burned out, and frustrated can be managed.

Kim provides one-on-one coaching, group coaching, speaking, and online training to help shift lives and careers. Her strong and structured career in the military, being goal-oriented and people-focused, allows her to give clients what they need. Her beliefs with a focused people-first personality allow her to give clients a way forward when they are stuck.

Journey to Finding Peace

When you are stuck in a place of loss and confusion, not knowing if you are coming or going. How do you regain your footing to push-out, pull-up and live again? Everyone experiences loss in their lives at some point. However, the way it affects us is different, grief is different for us all. We can find ourselves unable to move forward from that place of loss. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Coach Kim, the transformational coach on loss. I help women and men transform from loss to living. Given them the tools required to live beyond the loss in their heart. Not to get over it, but live beyond to have a better life.

Adversity, finding the way to recovery

The story is not about my broken legs, the concussion, nor my busted ear drums. Why did I share this story? This is about “ADVERSITY” which can lead to grief, depression, and anxiety. However, you can get through leads to resilience and never giving up on yourself, no matter how hard life gets. The experience taught me something about myself, I am tougher than I thought, but it took a lot of talking, pleading to get me where I am today. You may ask did I want to give up; yes, many times I asked God to take me this is too hard to handle, and I did not know what I would do if I could not walk again. My dreams were to always go into the military. The healing was long, but the mental struggles were even harder. Where am I today? Retired after a 29 ¾ yr. tour in the US Army. Yes, I am a Veteran.
