Let it shine

Life has carved a path for me that I never could have imagined. As a father, and a seeker of deeper truths, a survivor of the 1994 Rwandan genocide, a pharmacist specializing in infectious diseases, and educator, I've learned that our stories are not defined by our wounds, but by how we transform them.

My professional world revolves around infectious diseases - fighting HIV, battling antimicrobial resistance, and teaching students with love and humility. Beneath the clinical expertise lies a human story of resilience, hope, and connection.

I speak from the heart about what matters most:

- The raw power of forgiveness

- The quiet strength found in gratitude

- Love

- The lessons of resilience

- The wisdom gained through fatherhood

From the microscopic world of infectious diseases to the vast landscape of personal healing, I've learned that our greatest medicine is inside us.

I'm here to share, to listen, to connect. My journey is an invitation to explore our shared humanity, to find light inside us and let it shine.

The Resiliency Within - 4 Lessons from COVID-19 Pandemic

This speech is about 4 lessons from COVID-19 pandemic. Learning from the past can inform us on best course of actions moving forward.

This presentation discusses the ways LOVE and kindness helped us get out of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this presentation, I invite the audience to realize they are in control of their destiny.

As a teacher, I break down in simple terms recent cognitive neuroscience evidence to show how we can work effectively and efficiently.

It all starts with realizing how thoughts and feelings (emotions, energy) impact our lives. Then invite new thoughts and feelings that will empower us to live a fulfilled life and propel us to be the best version of ourselves.

Once we realize the power of questions, we begin asking empowering questions to bring answers that we need. The answers we receive are based on the questions we ask.

We are the definition of resiliency

In this workshop, I share how athletes can improve their game by being present. By learning how to be in control of their emotions (feelings, and energy), and their thoughts, athlete can move quicker "in the flow". '
