Bio

I'm the CEO of Wing Assistant, a company redefining the future of work. I was born in Mumbai, grew up in Hong Kong, and studied in California. Prior to being a CEO, my background was in computer science, artificial intelligence, and product development.

I grew Wing Assistant from my college dorm room to over 1,000 employees in 8 countries, went through UC Berkeley's SkyDeck accelerator, and raised VC funding.

I've spoken at a number of commercial events (US Chamber of Commerce, Tech Day LA, Sales Con) as well as educational events (UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, UCLA, Cal State Fullerton)

Karan was a panelist at the US Chamber of Commerce's Artificial Intelligence Commission on Competition, Inclusion, and Innovation in Palo Alto, speaking on topics of high-skill immigration, an American approach to artificial intelligence regulation, and the troubles of small companies in adopting artificial intelligence. Audience members included business leaders, AI experts, and current and former US lawmakers, as well as a former presidential candidate.

University of California Irvine - Center for Applied Innovation - Artificial Intelligence + Startups

Karan gave a presentation at UC Irvine's Center for Applied Innovation on how startups can really get to work incorporating artificial intelligence into their businesses.
