Jvonne Hubbard

Hello my name is Jvonne Hubbard, author of the memoir "White Sheets To Brown Babies". I grew up in a very dysfunctional household, under the hateful indoctrination of a father who was a KKK Grand Dragon. My story illustrates a rare, raw, inside look at growing up in the poor socio-economic part of the South, in a broken home, plagued by both alcoholism and enough rage and violence to ruin my family. How those childhood traumas affected the teen aged girl I became, the dysfunction that continued into my own marriage of domestic violence, and how I finally found the courage to free myself from a life of trauma and abuses. Spoiler alert: I persevere and overcome! Now as a published author I travel the country as a public speaker, hoping to educate and inspire the masses to rise up and stand together to fight such hate, racism, violence's and abuses!
