In 2002 Julie founded Action-Strategies-By-Design, and dedicated herself to helping businesses and organizations of all sizes, create and maintain a competitive edge by refocusing and improving their direction and operations on four critical business fundamentals: Leadership Effectiveness, Team Development, Strategic Alignment, and Interpersonal Communication.
During half-day / full-day / three-day workshops / executive leadership retreats, Julie uses Everything DiSC® and The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ program to guide CEOs / business owners / managers to understand and embrace their personality and behavior patterns and their characteristic traits. Julie brings a passion and energy to her presentation that empowers the managers, leaders and entire team to understand and grasp their potential to devise strategies and implement critical action plans that drive change.
Using her wit, charm and engaging smile she connects with her audience in an intimate, intense way and on an individual level, helping them discover how they view leadership, what motivates their team, how they react and respond under stress. Prior to founding Action-Strategies-By-Design, Julie worked for Horizon Health, a Dallas based company that provides psychiatric and physical rehab contract management services to hospitals across the country. She served in a variety of positions including Regional Director of Marketing, Regional Director of Operations, Regional Director of Outpatient Services, and Vice President of Consulting.
