Julianna N Porche is the definition of survival, perseverance, and a positive attitude. Almost eighteen years ago, she was struck the driver's side of her by a train. She almost died several times on the way to the hospital. She had nine broken ribs, a damaged lung, her spleen removed and a blood transfusion. She had to re-learn to walk and write and told she would always have limitations. A year after the accident, she was diagnosed with PTSD. Having been an athlete her whole life, she was advised she may not be able to be active again. She persevered and discovered Taekwondo. Taekwondo not only helped her become an athlete again but also helped with her PTSD. In April of 2018, she received her 1st degree black belt. She now uses her martial skills to inspire, empower, and education others. Julianna is walking and talking miracle and she does not take one day for granted. She explains to audiences that she lives with PTSD and does not suffer from it through her positive habits.
