I am the Founder of Joy of Consulting, a management consulting firm that helps companies with their organizational structure. We like to say we manage the chaos of people and processes. I am also the Founder of on the go GLAM, a beauty on demand platform that delivers beauty services to men and women in the comfort of their home, office, or hotel.
In addition to my business endeavors, I serve as Houston’s Google Digital Coach, and was recently named Program Director for DivInc Houston where I advise early-stage entrepreneurs.
I am a true advocate of small businesses and giving back to my community. I currently serve on the Board for Ellevate Network – Houston and Leadership Council for the National Small Business Association and former member of the Executive Leadership Team for the Johnson Space Center Small Business Council. My professional development continues with being a part of Leadership Houston, Class XXXVI and the Inaugural Class of Leadership ISD. I was honored by the City of Houston for my leadership in entrepreneurship. February 4, 2020 was proclaimed "Joy M. Hutton Day." In honor of Joy M. Hutton Day in 2021, I announced the LeadHERship Fund which provides micro grants to female entrepreneurs.
I am the co-creator of beauty•ish radio, a weekly podcast discussing beauty, business, and everything in between. I am also the former co-host of The Business Breakfast Talk Show, which delivered tips to those who want to start/run a business. More recently, I was a cast member and favorite on OWN TV’s Season 3 of Ready to Love – because outside of running a business, who doesn’t want to find love?
