Building Resilient Leadership

Does it feel like life is moving faster than ever? That the pace of change has become relentless? For the past five years, the world has been trying to handle the systemic shifts in our workforce, educational system, and in society from the pandemic. In addition, new technologies like Artificial Intelligence, a growing skills mismatch, the “Silver Tsunami” of retirements, and disruptions to the global order will be causing further disruption. Rather than sit back and hope, or try to pivot just one more time, we need to instead be preparing ourselves and our organizations for the storms of the future. With all of the change and uncertainty in workforce today, the need for an adaptable and resilient leadership mindset has never been greater – regardless of your title! Learn strategies that can help develop yourself and others in their ability to see, communicate, and adapt to change. Develop skills of resilience so you can be prepared no matter what the world throws at you next!

Building Work Ethic in an AI World: 5 Strategies to Develop Essential Soft Skills

Artificial Intelligence and automation are changing the workplace as we know it. Millions of jobs have been radically transformed and the recipe for success has been scrambled. While technical skills are still important, the biggest concern for employers are the diminishing soft skills of the workforce. Nearly 9 out of 10 hiring managers in the U.S. report that the lack of these soft skills are THE most important factor in their hiring, and the lack of these skills leads to 89 percent of all terminations. The changing nature of the workplace as a result of the pandemic has made it even more important to demonstrate these crucial work ethic behaviors on a consistent basis. Yet most, if not all, of an employee’s on-the-job training is currently focused on their technical skills. But there is a viable solution to the growing work ethic gap that can improve the employment outcomes for our incumbent workers AND our new hires.

Seven Secrets to Become the Leader You Never Thought You Could Be

With constant change increasing the pressure placed on all of us, how can you adapt to meet the needs of your customers and yourself? How do you deal with the difficulty of doing more with fewer resources? How do you stop spending your days putting out fires? Simple: stop letting your title or organizational structure keep you from being a leader. Don’t let your own self-doubt prevent you from achieving personal greatness.

In this spirited and engaging session, you will learn seven secrets that great leaders apply to make great results happen. Find out how you can apply these same secrets to your job – no matter what you do. Award-winning speaker Josh Davies will share strategies, specific tactics, and case studies to help everyone develop the secret behaviors that drive leadership. Discover the seven secrets to awaken the leader within you!

This Conference is a Waste of Your Time!* (But it doesn't have to be...)

We are finally meeting in person again – Congratulations! This conference has likely been a great experience. You’ve learned some valuable information, networked with peers, and been exposed to all sorts of new ideas. And it has all been. A. Waste. Of. Time. Why? Because unless you have a strategic plan for what you do with all of that information, networking, and ideas, you have squandered this opportunity. In the post-Pandemic world, it is going to be harder and harder to justify going to in-person conferences – so you have to maximize the value to you AND your organization. Find out the best ways to take everything you have gotten during the conference and turn them into action when you return. This entertaining and thought-provoking session will give you the tools to ensure that this conference was anything but a waste of your time and your organization’s resources!

Creating a Culture of Trust and Accountability

One of the greatest challenges a leader faces is dealing with issues of Trust and accountability. How do you ensure the people you’re leading demonstrate integrity on a daily basis? Do you practice it yourself? Do you model accountability throughout your organization in your interactions with others, operating practices, and personal work habits? Personal and organizational ethics are one of the easiest things to talk about, but hardest to walk.

The Center for Work Ethic Development works with over 500 organizations throughout the United States, and has interviewed more than 1,500 employers. This research confirms their number one need is to have trustworthy, accountable employees and leaders that live to the highest standard of integrity.

This highly interactive session will address trust and accountability directly through a practical, proven methodology you can employ to build accountability throughout your organization.
