Johnathan Lightfoot has been involved with IT for over 20 years. He has worked in various roles including Help Desk, Level II and III Desktop Support, Networking, Windows and AS-400 Server Administration, SharePoint Architect and Developer. Companies he is fortunate to have worked for in the past include Electronic Data Systems, Hawaiian Telcom and Norwegian Cruise Line (yes. he actually worked on the ships as a Systems Manager). However, the best experiences he says he has had were his nine years serving in the United States Navy.
Johnathan is a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) who is also certified as an MCDST, MCAS 2007, and MCPS (Microsoft Online Services). Johnathan has also published three books on Microsoft Technologies. Due to his experience as a frontline IT person as well as understanding business processes he is a valuable member of team, who is able to take the strategic direction of the company and translate those into IT technical requirements.
Johnathan is from Miami, Florida (originally) but grew up in Mesquite, Texas; he has lived and worked literally around the world. He currently lives in Boca Raton, FL.
