Bio

I’m a Conscious Leadership speaker and coach who is also affectionately known as the Monk Without The Funk.

I started defying the status quo as a child, after medical experts had condemned me to a lifetime of paralysis. I not only conquered my physical handicaps, but also became a respected martial arts and qigong expert.

I’ve followed my passion for Chinese philosophy and medicine, becoming a taiji and qigong instructor and obtaining a doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. I’m also a lifelong musician and an avid cook and Lego builder.
