John honorably served his country with the Air Force/ Air Force Reserves and government service for 7 years. While stationed overseas in Germany, he earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Management and Supervision from the University of Maryland European Division. John also coached Football and Wrestling with an American High School.
After returning to the United States, John and his family were stationed in Rapid City SD. It was there that he traded government service for a sales position with a local company, where he served 19 years in many roles, i.e.: Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales, and Vice President of Training and Recruiting. John has also served 4 years with a local MT company as the Director of Human Resources.
John's passion for developing people has now become his mission. He believes that if you want to become an effective leader you must first become brilliant at the basics. Extraordinary people do not do extraordinary things. They do ordinary things better than others.
In 2015 John was named John Maxwell’s Top 100 Leaders in the country.
John has been married to his wife Teresa for 30 years and has three children Taylor, Jordan and Jake.
