John has more than 32 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, construction, and owner (AECO) industry. He supports site operations teams by directing the use of building information modeling (BIM) for 3D coordination, modeling site logistics and phasing, and performing virtual mock-ups and constructability reviews. He is also responsible for 4D construction sequencing, 5D model-based quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and laser scanning. A champion of new technologies, John leverages BIM for virtual design and construction (VDC), virtual reality (VR)/augmented reality (AR), and drone and reality capture to communicate project challenges, improve team engagement, and eliminate rework to ensure the team meets critical project milestones and performance goals. He advises on technology solutions and industry practices that best fit an owner's goals and objectives
