Bio

Jennifer has been working with businesses and organizations for more than 18 years as a forward-thinking marketing advisr. Just being a great business is not enough; you have to be constantly telling people that you are worth their time and money. So, how do you do that?

In delivering this message to audiences, Jennifer uses her varied background in business along with her 20-year career in professional golf to illustrate how to compete effectively for the attention of the audience, regardless of what your competitors might be doing. When you build a strategy that focuses on the outcomes you want, you end up marketing with a purpose that drives results.

She speaks to large groups, conducts workshops and leads breakout sessions with information that the audience can take away and implement immediately in their own situations.

Jennifer is also the author of Forward Thinking for Your Business, a desktop reference for any business owner or decision-maker who wants better results using the tools they already have available. A quick read with short chapters and real-life advice that worked for others, is a great complement to Jennifer's speaking and consulting work.

Some Neat Facts About Jennifer:

1. She was the first recruited player, and only Canadian, to be part of the Campbell University (North Carolina) women's golf team.

2. In 1998, Jennifer made a six-foot, sliding putt to clinch her PGA of Canada professional card. She would go on to compete on the Canadian women's professional golf tour for several years while working in the golf industry.

3. In 2006, Jennifer started her own business in marketing and communications after sending out more than 100 resumes and being told that she was "over-qualified" for every position for which she applied.

4. Jennifer was the first recipient of the Algonquin College Business and Innovation Leadership Award.

5. For several years, Jennifer was also the publisher of two magazines (tourism and healthcare). Both were started as unique marketing initiatives for local businesses and organizations in her immediate community.

6. Jennifer launched the first online job board to serve the region in which she worked, and it remains the leading recruiting portal for local employers.

7. Jennifer is a member of the National Speakers Association.
