Jenifer Joy: Performer, Educator, and Advocate for a Joyful Life
I’m Jenifer Joy, a performer and educator with over a decade of experience inspiring audiences worldwide. My passion is blending yo-yo and magic tricks, plus the classical saxophone into my engaging keynote presentations! Through my talks, I explore the transformative power of joy and teach audiences how to cultivate and share it using my JOY framework: Joy, Openness, and You.
Every week, I have the privilege of performing for thousands of students across multiple states and countries. I love seeing how my school assemblies leave a lasting impression, not just through the dazzling performances but through meaningful messages that resonate. Educators, parents, and event organizers often share how my ability to connect with children and adults alike creates an unforgettable experience. As someone who works primarily with children, I don’t always have the extensive footage that comes from performing for adults, but the enthusiastic feedback I receive speaks for itself. Whether it’s a heartfelt thank-you note from a student or a glowing recommendation from a teacher, I’m reminded daily of the positive impact my presentations have.
Over the years, I’ve taught and performed in Thailand, England, China, New Zealand, and across the United States. I’ve always strived to connect with people of all backgrounds, using my performances to encourage audiences to embrace their unique gifts and talents to uplift themselves and others.
Last December, I was thrilled to be speaking in Toronto for the Thought Leader Talks, where I used my classical saxophone to explore the topic of Joy and its role in creating lasting fulfillment. It was an exciting opportunity to share my insights with a broader audience in a dynamic, thought-provoking setting.
I laugh because I’m now touring as a professional yo-yoist, throwing tricks for audiences 200-600+. I began learning the saxophone at age 8, and in recent years, I discovered the joy of learning the yo-yo at age 41. Along the way, I’ve created shows and programs that integrate my unique blend of skills. I’ve also released a music album, written a book on cultivating joy, and produced a magazine, all aimed at sharing knowledge and joy to inspire and uplift others.
With a Master’s degree and years of global experience performing and teaching, I’ve dedicated my career to empowering people to embrace their unique gifts and talents. My goal is to help others serve and uplift themselves and their communities, all while experiencing the transformative power of joy.
If you’re looking for an experienced, energetic, and heartfelt speaker to inspire joy, curiosity, and personal growth, I’d love to bring my unique blend of entertainment and education to your event.
